The “Grand Announcement” was streamed live from 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17th, and was watched by approximately 300,000 people.
Various information was released during the broadcast, including information about the staff and cast of the work, the theme song artist, key visuals, and the first promotional video.
Also appearing were Yamaguchi Kappei, Hayashibara Megumi, Hidaka Noriko, Ano, Director Uda Konosuke, and the approximately 2m tall Saotome Genma (a panda). They gave a lot of talk about the film.
On the day of the event, the official hashtag for the series, ” #RanmaAnime ,” dominated the top trending topics in Japan for a long period of time on X. Many other keywords related to the series also trended, creating a great deal of excitement.
