“SANDA” to be made into a TV anime! Teaser visual released | Comment from original author Paru ItagakiThe manga “SANDA” by Itagaki Paru reached its final chapter in the 32nd issue of “Weekly Shonen Champion” (Akita Shoten), released today, Thursday, July 11, 2024.

This is a unique Santa Claus hero action film set in a near-future Japan where children are overly protected in an era of extremely low birth rates.

This work has been decided to be made into a TV anime! Science SARU will be in charge of animation production.

Along with the announcement, a teaser visual and a comment from the original author, Itagaki-sensei, have been released.

The shadow of a young boy extends from the muscular old man in a red hoodie, who appears to be Santa Claus… This is a piece that stirs the imagination about the relationship between the two.

I wanted to draw a manga where the characters move dramatically! That’s why I started this manga. That’s why I’m happy that it’s been made into an anime! I’m grateful to my readers and Science SARU.
