“Moomin”, originally written by Tove Jansson, has been loved by fans all over the world for over 70 years. The stories woven by adorable and unique characters have been popular not only in novels, comics, and picture books, but also as movies and TV animation, and continue to fascinate many people in Japan.

In December 2023, a new puppet animation movie, Moominpappa's Memories,'' produced in Finland, was released. The Japanese dubbed version brings together regular voice actors from the Heisei version of the anime The Fun Moomin Family”, including Minami Takayama, Akio Otsuka, Mika Kanai, Takashi Nakao, Takehito Koyasu, and Rei Sakuma.
