This PV has been released from the [Re:collection] HIT SONG cover series feat.voice actors 2. Official interviews with 30 male voice actors who will be participating in this album have also been released.
The PV for [[Re:collection] HIT SONG cover series feat.voice actors 2], the second installment of the J-POP hit song cover album [Re:collection] series delivered by 30 gorgeous male voice actors, has been released. The recording scene of the participating voice actors has been released for the first time.
This PV includes Kazuyuki Okitsu, Sho Kano, Isamu Hayashi, Tarusuke Aragaki, Takeo Otsuka, Genki Okawa, Jun Kasama, Kenta Miyake, Chiharu Sawashiro, Ryota Suzuki, and Takatsuka. 17 people appeared: Tomohito, Shogo Sakata, Shinichiro Kamio, Kohei Amasaki, Gakuto Kajiwara, Arthur Lansbury, and Yusei Kikuchi. We have released a small preview of them singing each song.
In the future, we will be releasing a lot of solo recording videos, comment videos, sound source listening videos, etc. of the participating voice actors on official X, YouTube, and TikTok, so please look forward to it.

──Please tell us your impressions of the songs you were in charge of, your attachments to them, and your memories from those days.
Suwabe: Released when I was in elementary school. This hit song, which reached number 1 on the Oricon charts, was a hit even for me, who had already discovered techno through YMO! That’s no wonder, as Haruomi Hosono is in charge of composing and arranging the song. I think this is a monumental piece of techno music.
──Once again, please tell us your impressions and thoughts after singing.
Suwabe: The original song was sung by the three members of the Imokin Trio. In order to follow that example, I performed three voices by myself. It was a lot of fun.
──Please tell us your impressions when it was decided that you would be participating in this album series.
Furuya: I’ve always loved singing, and I was really happy because it’s been a while since I recorded a CD since I sang a cover of an anime song for the 50th anniversary anime voice actor mini album “Thanks♪” in 2016. In recent years, some people have told me that they became fans because of my songs, and they were looking forward to the recording.
──Please tell us your impressions of the songs you were in charge of, your attachments to them, and your memories from those days.
Furuya: I think the first time I heard “Eki” was about ten years ago, when it was featured on Mariya Takeuchi’s in-flight music service. I wanted to remember this song because it was a sad yet wonderful song that clearly evoked the scene. I ended up playing the guitar and singing on the hot spring bus tour with fans that I’ve held three times over the past six years, and I included it in my repertoire.
──Please tell us your impressions of the songs you were in charge of, your attachments to them, and your memories from those days.
Suzuki: I started listening to Mr.Children’s songs because of my parents. Tomorrow Never Knows'' is a memorable song that I remember playing in the car when I was little. Nowadays, I listen to various Mr.Children songs, but back then I only listened to this song. At the time, I thought it was just a good song, but as an adult I was moved by the depth of the songs and lyrics. I really like the lyrics, I was too young and I felt the traces of a dream I couldn’t return to in the boy I passed.”
──Please tell us about your impressions and thoughts after singing.
Suzuki: Although we had finished recording until the end, we had to re-record the entire first and second verses. I’m under a lot of pressure to not be able to sing my favorite artist’s songs well, so I’m taking more time than ever to record them. If you put too much emotion into it, the beautiful lyrics won’t be conveyed properly, so it was difficult to include a singing voice that would not overwhelm the song and overpower the lyrics. I wanted to sing in the original key, but it’s expensive. Once again, my respect for Mr. Sakurai has deepened.
──Please tell us about your impressions and thoughts after singing.
Kobayashi: Masamune Kusano is a genius. I realized once again that this is an amazing song. It was difficult, but I was able to record in a peaceful atmosphere, so I was able to relax.
──Please give a message to those who are looking forward to the sale.
小林：原曲へのリスペクトを込めつつ、僕なりの『チェリー』を歌わせていただきました。季節や時間、誰と聴くかで凄く印象の変わる楽曲だと思いますので、是非皆さんなりのさまざまな聴き方をして楽しんでいただきたいです。
──ご担当曲への印象や、思い入れ、当時の思い出などを教えてください。
岡本：高校卒業時によく歌っていた気がします。友達との別れというところでリンクする部分もあり、個人的な自分の想いものっけながら歌っていました。ちなみに人生で1番カラオケに行った時期でもあった気がします。この企画のおかげで改めて聞いたのですが、エモーショナルで素敵な曲だなとしみじみしました。カバーさせていただき感謝です。
──そのほか、思い入れのある曲や、歌ってみたい楽曲などはございますか。
岡本：Sound Horizonをよく聞いておりました。メジャーなほうでいうと大塚愛さんはよく聴いてた気がします。「さくらんぼ」や「スマイリー」、「プラネタリウム」などをよくオク下で歌ってた気がします。
──本作のアルバムシリーズのご参加が決まった時のご感想をお聞かせください。
入野：再び参加させていただくことができて光栄です。好きなアーティストの好きな曲を歌えるこの企画。最高です。
