A special event for this work, “Juju Fest 2024,” was held at Pia Arena MM on Sunday, August 25, 2024.
In this article, we will report on the Evening Session, which was a huge success with a packed schedule that included live voice recordings, live performances, and a mini reading drama, as well as the participation of a stellar cast of voice actors and artists, as well as the special band responsible for the music in the film.
Cast:
Junya Enoki (role of Itadori Yuji),
Yuuma Uchida (role of Fushiguro Megumi), Asami
Seto (role of Kugisaki Nobara), Yuichi Nakamura (role of Gojo Satoru), Kenjiro Tsuda (role of Nanami Kento), Subaru Kimura (role of Toudou Aoi), Aya Endo (role of Ieiri Shouko), Nobunaga Shimazaki (role of Masato), Takahiro Sakurai (role of Getou Suguru), Soushi Sakiyama (Ending theme artist for “Kaitama Tamaori”), Junsei Terui & “Juju Fest 2024” special band
At the start of the event, Masato, played by Shimazaki Nobunaga, announced some important points to note, and the call-and-response of “Mui Tenhen” heated up the venue.
As the stage went dark, the first half of “Kaitama – Tamaori” began to be recorded with a live performance by a special band. Yuichi Nakamura, Takahiro Sakurai, and Aya Endo performed the memorable scenes of Gojo Satoru, Geto Suguru, and Ieiri Shouko with a sense of realism to the live music.
As the cast members’ expressiveness and live performance drew the audience into the world of “Jujutsu Kaisen,” a total of nine cast members appeared on stage performing their characters’ lines, and “Juju Fest 2024” began with a declaration by Junichi Enoki.
The MC, Neki Matsuzawa, moderated the second half of the next segment, “Kaigyoku and Tamaori.” The applause of the Banseikyo cult members rang out in unison with the applause of the audience. The entire venue was enveloped in an eerie atmosphere, as if they had entered the anime.
The realistic expressiveness that directly conveys the changing feelings and relationships of the characters is simply overwhelming. It’s not bad to be swept away by the acting of the cast members who instantly take control of the scene.
Before there was any time to bask in the afterglow, Soushi Sakiyama performed the ending theme “Tomo” of “Kaitama Tamaori.” The glow sticks lit up from side to side in response to his soft and gentle voice that had a strong core.
After the wonderful live performance, it’s time for the “Juju Stroll” corner. This time, it’s titled “Minato Mirai in 2006,” and it’s a story about Gojo, Geto, and Ieiri touring the sightseeing spots of Minato Mirai.
